Gideros Mobile

http://giderosmobile.com/

This is the game framework we are going to be using for this class. It is free to use and release games for Android and iOS with, but you can also pay for an Indie or Professional license.

It has versions for Windows and Mac, but it will also run in Linux if you run it via Wine.

GIMP

http://www.gimp.org/

GIMP is a completely free graphics editing program, and what I am going to be using in class if I need to edit or modify any art files.

BFXR

http://www.bfxr.net/

While I don’t suggest using this for non-learning projects (EVERYBODY USES IT, it is like nails on chalkboard!), BFXR can generate sound effects easily.
